Program Endorsement
Special Recognition of Continuing Nursing Education Programs
We are excited by the growth of interest in the AHNA’s Endorsement process! We are pleased to recognize and acknowledge these programs that cultivate holistic nursing and develop nurse healers.
AHNA or ANCC Approved continuing nursing education (CNE) programs may be submitted to AHNA for additional review in order to achieve endorsement. This voluntary process involves an extensive qualitative and peer review of a holistic CNE program. View a list of our currently endorsed programs.
Why does the AHNA endorse continuing nursing education programs?
-
To support the development of continuing nursing education (CNE) programs that present content in holistic nursing and the complementary healing modalities.
-
To encourage the growth of programs exploring the integration of complementary healing modalities into the practice of nursing.
-
To acknowledge those programs, which upon completion, will improve the quality of healing care nurses can provide.
