As a provider of continuing nursing education, AHNA offers a variety of educational opportunities to the nursing community. Our educational programs are designed to confirm beliefs, develop skills, and build on holistic practices. We are excited to offer these programs and invite you to share the learning experience of holistic nursing.
Approval of a Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) activity

This special recognition service is provided to *approved continuing nursing education programs that offer content based on a well-developed body of knowledge congruent with the AHNA mission and vision. View a list of our endorsed programs. Certification in Holistic Nursing
Certification in Holistic Nursing is obtained through the American Holistic Nurses Certification Corporation (AHNCC). AHNCC is the only national credentialing corporation for the specialty of Holistic Nursing. AHNCC works with the AHNA as both organizations support and facilitate the understanding and growth of holistic nursing. However, AHNCC and AHNA are two separate and different organizations. AHNA is accredited as an approver and provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
