"Medicinal Cannabis: What Holistic Nurses Need To Know" with Dr. Carey S. Clark
Patients are using cannabis, and nurses need to know about it. This interactive presentation will provide the participants with an overview of the endocannabinoid system and explore the nurse's role in supporting patients' use of medicinal cannabis for optimal healing through homeostasis.
Dr. Carey S. Clark is an Associate Professor of Nursing at University of Maine at Augusta, the President-Elect of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, and an advanced holistic nurse, board certified. She has presented medicinal cannabis information to nurses at Oncology Nursing Society National Congress and Regional Conferences (2017) and at AHNA National Conferences (2016/ 2017).
