Assistant Professor Nursing

Capital University’s Nursing Department invites applications for a fulltime, tenure track position in Pediatric or Psychiatric-Mental Health for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Experience in informatics and the use of technology in nursing education is also desirable. The faculty welcomes a new colleague who will share their passion for the profession as well as love of teaching, learning, and mentoring undergraduate, accelerated degree, BSN completion and graduate students. We are seeking an individual with a commitment to a holistic nursing philosophy and values teaching, scholarship, and service.

Nursing licensure in Ohio and the master’s degree in nursing are required. An earned doctorate is required for tenure track appointments. Experience in Baccalaureate nursing education is required.

Director of Integrative Services

This key role will be responsible for leading the strategic visioning and integration of the Healing Healthcare Model and inspires team of holistic practitioners whom provide and serve patients and staff with holistic interventions and compassionate care. Will partner and collaborate with HealthEast nursing to advance the holistic nursing strategy.

Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes. Partners with hospital departments and professional staff concerning the integration of holistic care and inspires the evolution of healing health care. Creates a wellness and holistic culture which utilizes teaming and effective communication to meet the identified goals.

Provides servant leadership and management of the human resources to ensure a culture of high employee engagement with qualified well trained employees who have a focus on clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction. Serves as a clinical expert, leader, partner and mentor within the HealthEast community.

Participates in strategy development for integrative care services for STAC hospitals. Develops and teaches integrative care in educational conferences and programs form an evidenced based outcome perspective. Will maintain clinical expertise in Integrative Health Care Program by attending local and national educational events to follow market trends of holistic health care to provide most current information and services. Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards.

Experience and Credentials: Master's Degree in Nursing required. Doctorate degree preferred in Holistic Nursing.
Requires 4 to 6 years management experience required. Board Certified Holistic Nurse (HN-BC) or (HBC-BC) from American Nurses Credentialing Center. Registered Nurse MN (RN) from MN Board of Nursing.
