Scottsdale, Ariz.—Nurses from across the United States will gather in Scottsdale at the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) annual conference, “Unleashing the Potential: Holistic Leadership for Healthcare Transformation”—June 17-20, 2004 at the spectacular Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Attendees will experience dynamic keynote speakers, participate in community-building and networking activities, browse an exhibit hall, view poster presentations, and can choose from among 26 workshops.
Holistic Leadership is the wave of the future. Kathy Malloch RN, PhD, MBA, co-author of Quantum Leadership: A textbook of new leadership and national nursing leader, will engage participants during an all-day interactive session, “Holistic Leadership for Healthcare Transformation.” Karren Kowalski RN, PhD, FAAN closes with “Holistic Leadership: from character development to healing the environment.” Attendees will explore holistic leadership issues including character development, growth from within, growing others, re-commitment to leadership, and establishing a caring environment.
Nurses, students and others from all healthcare, educational, entrepreneurial and administrative settings are encouraged to join in Unleashing the Potential. Costs range from $84 for pre-conference workshops to $595 for late, full registration. Participants can register for individual pre-conference workshops, a one-day session or the entire conference.
