Position Statement: Joining AHNA in 1983 there was a critical nursing shortage. Burnout was common; nurses were leaving nursing. Today the situation is similar plus high health care costs in a frail economy. My private practice allows me to use advanced holistic techniques to nurture and revitalize clients. These techniques are needed today in nursing. The AHNA needs to offer a renewed light of caring for ourselves, of coming together with an open heart to heal and rekindle our passion for nursing. Only as we are nurtured can we nurture others. As Practice Coordinator allow me to give this gift to you.
