Objective: To find depictions of AHNA Local Networks for a 2013 Calendar
Deadline for Submissions: July 1, 2012
Submission Guidelines:
1) Your submission should be a network related/sponsored activity photograph representing one of the following themes:

January – New beginnings
|
July – Service/Giving Back
|
|
February – Valentine theme/Love and laughter
|
August – Preparing for Fall
|
|
March – Spring
|
September – Back to school
|
|
April – Earth Day
|
October – Halloween/ costumes
|
|
May – Nurses Week/ Nightingale Moment
|
November – Giving Thanks
|
|
June – AHNA Conference
|
December – Holiday potlucks, or traditions
|
2) The photograph(s) must be submitted in electronic form (i.e. digitally scanned photo or digital photograph.)
3) All files must be in JPEG or TIFF format
4) The file must be at least 11" high or wide at its longest dimension at 300 pixels/inch (dpi). Files of this size are usually at least 1 MB.
5) Each file should be given a unique name using the following format.
Title your file accordingly:
Network ID # (provided by AHNA Staff member)_Month (of theme)_Pic#
Example of file name: 125836_03_04
6) You may enter as many pieces as you wish, but a separate entry form and artist release form is required for each entry.
Artist Release:
Even if your photograph(s) is not chosen for the calendar, you will still have a chance for it to be featured in an upcoming issue of Beginnings, www.ahna.org or in other AHNA publications.
By entering this contest and submitting photograph(s), the network grants the American Holistic Nurses Association the unlimited right to reproduce the
photograph(s) in any and all of its publications, products for re-sale and/or marketing materials (including but not limited to: greeting cards, yearly calendar, Beginnings, web site, etc.) in any form or medium, whether now known or hereafter developed, in all languages, for distribution throughout the world.
To submit: E-mail your photograph(s) to membership@ahna.org with an attached copy of the Submission Form and then fax or mail the Artists Release Form and Model Release Forms to (928) 526-2752 or American Holistic Nurses Association, 323 N San Francisco St, Ste. 201, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, Attn: 2013 Network Calendar.
Alternate submission: Mail a CD containing a digital copy of your photograph(s) with the paper copy Submission Form and the Artists Release Form and Model Release to American Holistic Nurses Association, 323 N San Francisco St, Ste. 201, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, Attn: 2013 Network Calendar.
Selections will be made according to how well the photograph(s) matches the monthly theme and showcases an AHNA Network.
