Liz Loeb is a civil rights attorney and community organizer with twenty years of experience working in political and social movements towards justice. A graduate of Brown University, Liz holds a law degree from NYU School of Law and a PhD in critical social theory from the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.  Liz is the Associate Director of Kaleo Center for Faith, Justice, & Social Transformation, where she organizes with diverse faith communities and people of spiritual practice at the intersections of strategic visioning, direct action, racial justice, and queer liberation.  This presentation will explore the places where intersectionality (describing how people experience multiple identities in a system of privilege and oppression).  Bring your questions and curiosities for this interactive experience of reflection and collaborative learning.
