AHNA goes International

We invite you to help AHNA welcome our international chapters as they help us advance a whole-person approach to healthcare that includes the empowerment of nurses, patients and families through community-building, advocacy, education and research. We don't want to stop with just North America though. Already, the AHNA has members across the seas in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe. Our members have ties to South America and many of the islands and we're always looking to help these locations start their own chapters of the Holistic Nurses Association.

AHNA policy states that any individual who lives outside of the United States (except for U.S. Military), must register and pay the international AHNA Membership Annual rate of $135.  The International Membership is only available as an annual fee, and is not eligible for a senior discount, student discount, or payable as a monthly installments/recurring payment.

  • Hard copy of the Beginnings Magazine six (6) times per year mailed

AHNA welcomes our Canadian friends - Canadian Holistic Nurses Association (CHNA).

The Canadian Holistic Nurses Association was started in 1986 by a group of nurses from British Columbia, Canada. They began as a special interest group of the Registered Nurses Association of British Columbia, then applied to the Canadian Nurses’ Association and were granted Special interest Group Status in 1986.

Their mission is to support the practice of holistic nursing across Canada by: acting as a body of knowledge for its practitioners, by advocating with policy makers and provincial regulatory bodies and by educating Canadians on the benefits of complementary and integrative health care.
