Build Your Holistic Community with Nurse Networking Calls
What is a Nurse Networking Call (NNC)? Registered participants receive a practice-related article that provides an evidence-based resource for the holistic nursing topic of the call. Using active listening and holding a safe, confidential space, a small group and a facilitator begins with a centering exercise then shares their thoughts, feelings, and experiences around the call's topic.
Two NNCs are offered every February, May, and October, with a new topic for each set of two calls. Each NNC lasts 65 minutes. NNCs are recorded but the recordings are not shared.
Nurse Networking Calls are approved for 1 CNE. AHNA members may attend free. Space is limited to 15 participants per call.
Expected Outcome: Learners will be able to identify one area of their nursing practice that might benefit from applying something they learned or realized either during the call or from reading the call’s article.
