'Tapping' for Health & Wellness Workshop
On April 19, Marian Condon, R.N., D.Ed., is presenting a workshop on 'Tapping,' also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for health and wellbeing. Dr. Marian Condon, Professor Emerita from the Department of Nursing at York College, is a certified Advanced Gold-Standard EFT Tapping Practitioner and member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP.)

‘Tapping,’ is an energy healing method that helps reduce and even eliminate physical issues, chronic pain, as well as deep-seated emotional issues. While Tapping may seem unfamiliar or new, it is actually a combination of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology that simultaneously works to gently alter one’s brain, energy system and body.

Researchers, Dawson Church, Ph.D., and David Feinstein, Ph.D., testified about their results treating post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) in war veterans with Tapping in front of Congress in July 2010. Speaking to the House Veterans Affair Committee, they presented research that showed that Tapping is easy to do, can be learned in 5 minutes and requires no equipment.  Additionally, Tapping is providing veterans with deep, lasting relief from a wide range of PTSD symptoms including phobias, sleep issues, physical pain, mood and emotional issues, violent behavior, night terrors and substance abuse. Furthermore, Tapping has no side effects, and can be practiced on your own at zero cost.
