Nurturing self has always been a very organic process for me and continues to be so. I am curious, and find mystery and humor in allowing what is possible. I bring a global perspective, an ability to apply the principles of quantum thinking and holistic principles to the position.
Learning to integrate my knowledge of systems, energy and consciousness and aligning these ideas within healthcare organizations, allopathic medicine, businesses and education have been a constant mission of mine. I have worked with hundreds of leaders, executives and boards and been a founding member of three non-profit service organizations. With my aid they moved from fledgling, novice operational boards to mature boards of governance. It would be an honor to bring these experiences to AHNA and further its mission.
AHNA has provided a healing culture, created standards and a structure. In the journey to mature as an organization, AHNA faces the challenge of growth while continuing to live its vision. AHNA has positioned itself to take Gordon’s keynote last year to move from being the voice of Holistic Nursing to advocating on a larger scale. My passion for Holistic Nursing knowledge and experience in leadership, education and organizational systems can assist in successfully meeting that challenge.
