Heidi Honegger Rogers, DNP, FNP-C, APHN-BC, is a family nurse practitioner, advanced practice holistic nurse and a clinician educator - associate professor at the University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing. She is the Director of Interprofessional Education for the UNM Health Sciences Center, and has developed a new interprofessional education honors program as well as an integrated curriculum and experiential content around teamwork, collaboration, ethics, shared decision making, mindfulness health and well-being, and equity and inclusion for HSC and UNM health professions students.She is Participating in the College of Nursing Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee and co-leads the concepts in Justice and Equity for health professionals course as part of her responsibilities. Rogers is active Chair member of the AHNA Research Committee . She is also on NM Public Health Association Policy Committee, and serves on the Los Alamos County Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability Task Force. She helped to build a nurse led primary care clinic embedded in an integrative clinical practice in Santa Fe as part of her UNM position.

Leslie LaPointe MSN, APRN, CPNP, CHSE has over 36 years of nursing experience encompassing Holistic Medicine, Child Health, School based health, home care and nursing education focusing on simulation. She earned certifications as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Health Care Simulation Education specialist and Master Gardener. Leslie is a member of The Holistic Nurses Association, The National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners, Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health, Northeast Horticultural Therapeutic Network, and The Connecticut Master Gardeners Association. Leslie is currently a full-time nursing professor at The University of Connecticut School of Nursing. In her spare time, she runs a small farm, growing pesticide and chemical free garlic and vegetables. She also breeds and raises holistically cared for Nigerian Dwarf and Angora goats. Her hobbies include producing goat milk soap and mohair fleece products Leslie is the AHNA chapter leader for the Connecticut UConn chapter and enjoys working with the students to increase their awareness of holistic nursing.

Mitzie Meyers, PhD, RN, CNE, AHN-BC has been a member of the AHNA for 25 years and is certified in advanced holistic nursing. Her clinical practice specialty area is pediatric and neonatal critical care. She is a certified nurse educator and has been teaching in academia for the past 15 years. She recently obtained her PhD from William Carey University. She is a past recipient of the Charlotte McGuire graduate scholarship award. Mitzie has presented at three past AHNA annual conferences on the topics of spirituality, grief, end of life care, and online teaching methods. She has also written several articles published in the Beginnings magazine. Mitzie has been a long-time resident of the New Orleans area and is a member of the New Orleans AHNA chapter. She recently moved to Denver, CO. She is excited to be a part of the task force to address the health of our sacred planet.

Elizabeth Pasquariello, MSN-ED, RN, HWNC-BC has 19 years of nursing experience working in a variety of health care settings, including psychiatric/mental health care, school health, community health, leadership/ management, higher education, and nurse coaching. Elizabeth currently teaches online nursing and health sciences courses for South Dakota State University and lives in Decatur, IL, with her husband, two teenagers, and dog.  One of her favorite places to be is outdoors among the trees.  Elizabeth believes in the healing power of nature and in the interconnectedness of all living things.

Laurie Laugeman BSN, RN, HNB-BC, HWNC-BC has had a broad nursing experience in home care, hospice, geriatrics and acute care. Currently as a staff nurse on a cardiac and neuro unit she provides a holistic approach and utilizes coaching to assist with chronic disease management. An advocate for transformational leadership, Laurie is actively involved in Shared Governance and recently formed a hospital Planetary Health Committee.
