Overview: This program is a series of four racial healing circles sessions led by experienced racial healing circle facilitators. Participants will experience and explore issues, beliefs, and experiences around race in a racially diverse group. The major activities within the circle will be story sharing and deep listening. This non-judgmental group experience prepares community members to recognize and act with compassion in addressing racial injustice going forward.
Learning Outcomes: At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
- Describe how they have connected with their own beliefs of racism and racial equity based on their experience of the racial healing circles.
