Annual AHNA Awards Banquet

Join us to celebrate the accomplishments and efforts of many dedicated and passionate nurses at the Annual AHNA Awards Banquet. Enjoy a meal and connect with other holistic nurses. Be prepared to laugh with your fellow attendees, with a comedian proformance after the recognition program.
 

  Attendee Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation after May 15: For all requests received in writing, fax, or email postmarked after May 15, conference registration and optional activities are non-refundable- with the exception of pre-conference workshop fees. Individuals who are no-shows for optional activities will not receive a refund. Alternative options are as follows:
  • Transfer your registration to another person for a $50 processing fee or receive credit for the following year’s conference: You will be charged a $50 processing fee and will receive a letter of credit worth 50% of what you paid for general registration in the next year’s conference.

Exhibitor Registration Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The $100 nonrefundable deposit will be retained for all cancellations prior to February, 15th. After February 15, no refunds will be given. All cancellations fees retained by AHNA under this contract are deemed fully earned and made in consideration for expense incurred by AHNA for loss or deferred opportunity to provide exhibit space to others.
 

T-SHIRTS

$20 per t-shirt, all orders must be made prior to the 2021 Annual Conference. 
 

 

 

ANNUAL AUCTION

If you would like to donate an item (minimum value $75) for our fundraising Silent Auction and Zen Raffle, please bring it with you to the registration table. The Awards Banquet gives you the opportunity to win, bid on and buy (cash, check, credit card) all sorts of valuable, treasured or humorous objects as well as several education courses from the Silent Auction. It’s a can’t miss event! Please email communications@ahna.org to give us the details if you plan on bringing an item to auction.

ATTIRE

As always conference, attire is casual. Orlando temperature is usually high 80’s in the summer with high humidity. It rains an average of 15 days in June so be sure to bring a rain jacket or umbrella. As well as a light jacket, as the air conditioning will be on in the hotel.

 

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Transportation to and from the event and all fees, taxes gratuities are included. Meet in the specified location (TBD) 15 minutes before to check in. There are NO PHYSICAL TICKETS for each optional activity, unless otherwise stated, your name is on a guest list for each event.

Meals

All meals must be selected during the registration process. Vegetarian options are available and are marked as “VEG.” Gluten free options are available and marked as “GF.” Vegetarian and GF options will be offered, but the hotel will not be responsible for fulfilling additional specific dietary needs.

Pre-Conference, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 Endorsed Program Lunch
ME1.
 Asian Shrimp Zingiber Salad, sweet chili ginger Marinated Shrimp over Bok Choy, Peking Cabbage, Snow Peas, Carrots, Red Peppers, Winter Melon, and Almonds. Served with Orange Ginger Dressing. (Dressing and almonds served on side) (GF)
ME2. Wild Mushroom Stir Fry and Brown Rice Quinoa, shitake mushrooms, peppers, onions, broccoli & portabella mushroom (VEG/GF)
*Both meals include tropical flavored ice cream.


Pre-Conference, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Lunch 
ML1. Hail Caesar Salad, Traditional Caesar salad with marinated grilled chicken garnished with roasted peppers, seasoned croutons and fresh parmesan cheese (Dressing and croutons served in the side) (GF)     
ML2. Polenta Cake and Roasted Vegetable with Red Pepper Coulis Zucchini, yellow squash, peppers, onions, mushrooms marinated, asparagus and roasted over a bed of polenta drizzle with coulis (VEG/GF)
*Both meals include peanute butter and whole fresh fruit. 

Full Conference, Thursday, June 10,2021 Dialogue to Action Lunch 
TH1. Island Buffet, tropical fruit salad with toasted coconut, pasta salad, mixed greens, raspberry-cilantro vinaigrette, Cuban sliced roast pork, mushroom demi-glace, grilled mahi-mahi, chicken with rice and pear, spiced vegetables, conch fritters with sauce remoulade, bread pudding with crème Anglaise served with pineapple upside down cake, and three layer cake.
TH2. Vegetarian Island Buffet, tropical fruit salad with toasted coconut, pasta salad, mixed greens, raspberry-cilantro vinaigrette, eggplant parmesan, grilled mahi-mahi, wild mushroom stir fry and brown rice quinoa, spiced vegetables, conch fritters with sauce remoulade, bread pudding with crème Anglaise served with pineapple upside down cake, and three layer cake. Full Conference, Friday, June 11, 2021 AHNA in Action Committee Gathering Lunch 
CL1. Grilled Chicken Wrap, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil wrapped in a tortilla shell, potato salad, and potato chips.(GF)
CL2. Portabella Mushroom Wrap, GF tortilla wrap, marinated portabella mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, red pepper, Napa cabbage bok choy, red onions, and tangerine pasta topped with orange ginger glaze terra chips. (VEG/GF)
*Both meals are served with fresh whole fruit and a chocolate chip cookie. 


Full Conference, Saturday June, 12, 2021 Breakfast
BF1. Breakfast Burrito, Corn tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, roasted peppers, onions, and diced ham, rosemary potatoes and a fresh fruit garnish.
BF2. Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito, Corn tortilla with scrambled tofu, roasted peppers, onions and rosemary potatoes and fresh fruit garnish. (VEG/GF)
*All breakfast selections are served with GF bakery assortment with sweet butter and fruit preserves. 

Full Conference, Saturday June 12, 2021 AHNA Banquet
AB1. Filet Salmon Teriyaki,
island fried rice and stir fried vegetables
AB2. Vegetable Lasagna Roll and Pomodoro Sauce, zucchini, yellow squash, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and spinach rolled in GF pasta and top with pomodoro sauce, mozzarella cheese and pesto. (VEG)
*Both meals are served with a preset salad with GF dressing and key lime pie with GF crust.  

Chapter and Group Meetings

All attendees are invited to attend this orientation meeting to become familiar with chapter leader duties and things that are rolled out within chapters and to connect with fellow AHNA members and holistic peers. ( TBD )

Sharing Circle Facilitator Meeting: Sharing Circle Facilitators should plan to attend this training meeting to prepare and earn 1 CNE. ( Wednesday, June 9, 2021 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM )

AHNCC Certification and Re-certification in Holistic Nursing meeting: For those interested in being certified or re-certified in holistic nursing and/or nurse coaching.

All attendees are invited to attend this orientation meeting to become familiar with the conference schedule, details on workshop evaluations, certificates and to connect with fellow AHNA members and holistic peers. This meeting is open to all who would like to attend and get an update on what’s NEW at the conference. Take advantage of an opportunity to meet AHNA’s Executive Director and Board of Directors. Learn about special features of the AHNA Conference, ask questions, and enrich your conference experience by meeting other newcomers.
