Pivoting to Full Virtual Conference FAQs

Why is AHNA switching to an all Virtual Conference?
There is still uncertainty about COVID-19 pandemic and the emerging variants, and the disruption necessary to contain it makes this a significant challenge. AHNA’s top concern is the health and welfare of our members, our staff and the patients entrusted to their care. Registered nurses play an essential role in front-line delivery of care and we must safeguard them from any unnecessary exposure and ensure that as essential healthcare providers they are available to provide nursing service in their respective communities.

We are extremely disappointed about not being able to celebrate on-site in Orlando, Florida. Especially, the 41st Anniversary and the 2020 & 2021 Year of the Nurse all together at the Annual Conference. The cancellation of the On-site AHNA Annual Conference creates a huge void in terms of holistic nurses being able to share opportunities during an in-person conference together. The Full Virtual Conference Track AHNA is offering will be an opportunity for members to share their work in a safer, more encompassing environment.
