Annual AHNA Awards Banquet

Join us to celebrate the accomplishments and efforts of many dedicated and passionate nurses at the 2018 Annual AHNA Awards Banquet. Don't forget to dress for this year's theme!

 

Registration Fees, CNE & Meals

Select meals are included in your conference fee as noted below. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be offered, but the hotel will not be responsible for fulfilling specific dietary needs. Guest rooms are equipped with small refrigerators to keep food.

 • Tuesday Pre-Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to workshop(s), box lunch and continuing nursing education contact hours for the day you have registered. 

• Wednesday Pre-Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to workshop(s), box lunch, and continuing nursing education contact hours for the day you have registered.

 • Full Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to all programs and events for Thursday through Sunday. Thursday Evening Exhibitor Reception, Thursday morning Evening Opening Ceremonies, Breakfast (1), Brunch (1), Lunch (2), Saturday Evening Awards Banquet and Silent Auction, beverage breaks and continuing nursing education hours. 

• One Day Registration Fee: Available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday only. Includes admission on selected day to programs, events and continuing nursing education contact hours. Meals included are Thursday breakfast, Friday lunch and Saturday breakfast. Saturday Awards Banquet and Silent Auction are not included in one-day registration fee.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation Policy Cancellations after May 15: For all requests received in writing, faxed, emailed or postmarked after May 15,  conference registration and optional activities are non-refundable with the exception of pre-conference workshop fees.   Alternative options: 1) Transfer your registration to another person for a $50 processing fee; OR 2) Get credit for next year’s conference: you will be charged a $50 processing fee and you will receive a Letter of Credit worth 50% of what you paid for general registration in 2018, which can be used toward the conference in 2019.

HOLISTIC MARKETPLACE

This year we will again be hosting the Holistic Marketplace. Pass on your most prized possessions (minimum $10 value) at the marketplace. Donate your item with love and gratitude then remember to stop by and shop at the marketplace near the registration area. All sale proceeds will benefit the AHNA. 


T-SHIRTS

This year we will be offering a limited number of T-shirts with AHNA 2018 conference logo for purchase in the Gift Shop area. 


 

ANNUAL AUCTION

If you would like to donate an item (minimum value $75) for our fundraising Silent Auction and Zen Raffle, please bring it with you to the registration table on Tuesday through Thursday. The Silent Auction at the Saturday Night Awards Banquet gives you the opportunity to win, bid on and buy (cash, check, credit card) all sorts of valuable, treasured or humorous objects as well as several education courses. It's a "don't miss" event! Please email membership@ahna.org to give us the details if you are bringing an auction item. 


 

ATTIRE

 Conference attire, as always, is casual. Be sure to bring a light jacket, as the air conditioning will be on in the hotel and conference center.

Android and iPhone:

1. Go to the Google Play store or the iTunes Store on your mobile device.

2. Search for the following “AHNA Annual Conference”.

3. Select “Install” button to download the app onto your device.

4. Open the mobile app.

5. If you would like to receive “push notifications” select “OK” to accept. These push notifications are to keep attendees informed of any last minutes changes to schedules, zen raffle winners, etc.

6. Once you have downloaded the app, open it and access the sign in page by tapping the icon showing 3 stacked lines in the upper-left corner to open the side navigation menu. Tap on the Log In button.

7. You’ll be prompted to enter your first and last name. Tap Next. Enter an immediately accessible email address, then tap Next again.

8. A verification email will be sent to your inbox. Open it and tap Verify Account. This will redirect you to the app.

9. You’ll see your confirmation code has already been carried over.

10. Tap Finish. You will be taken back to the Event Guide page where all available features are now unlocked.

Blackberry: The event is accessible to BlackBerry devices

Windows Phone users, and desktop computers through your web-based version. The URL is shown below https://crowd.cc/2016ahnaconf Important Note: BlackBerry and Windows phone users are welcome to use the mobile web version, which behaves much like the app, but does need internet connectivity in order to view.

1. Go to https://crowd.cc/2016ahnaconf It will take you to a page asking for a login.

2. Complete the login information with an immediately accessible email, first name and last name.

3. Open the app and access the sign in page by tapping the icon showing 3 stacked lines in the upper-left corner to open the side navigation menu.

4. Select Log In.

5. A verification email will be sent to your inbox. Open it and tap Verify Account. This will redirect you to the app.

6. You’ll see your confirmation code has already been carried over.

7. Tap Finish. You will be taken back to the Event Guide page where all available features are now unlocked. Once all steps have been completed, you will now be logged into the mobile app and able to have full access to create and develop your own schedule, flag the exhibitors you are interested in visiting, and even hold conversations on social media. If you experience any difficulties with the login process, please feel free to stop by the Registration Table for assistance.

Optional Tours

All Optional Tour pricing is PER PERSON. Transportation to and from the event and all fees, taxes and gratuities are included. Meet in the Lobby 30 minutes before to check in. There are NO PHYSICAL TICKETS for each tour, your name is on a guest list for each event.

Take advantage of an opportunity to meet the AHNA's Executive Director and Board of Directors. Learn about special features of the AHNA Conference, ask questions, and enrich your conference experience by meeting other newcomers. 

Chapter and Group Meetings

Chapter and Group Meetings Crones & Sages Meeting Senior members of AHNA are invited to attend this gathering for collegial discussions. Towards the end of this meeting, join the first time attendees to facilitate mentoring and networking with these new guests. 

New Attendee Orientation All first-time Conference Attendees are invited to attend this orientation meeting to become familiar with the Conference schedule, details on workshop evaluations and certificates and to connect with fellow AHNA members and holistic peers. This meeting is open to all who would like to attend and get an update on what’s NEW at the Conference. 

JHN Associate Editors, Editorial Board & Peer Reviewer Meeting JHN’s Editor Richard Cowling, III, RN, PhD, APRN-BC, AHN-BC, FAAN invites all members serving in these capacities for JHN to join him for this meeting. This Breakfast meeting is open to all current JHN Peer Reviewers and the JHN Editorial Board.

AHNCC Item Writing Session Interested in obtaining free continuing education credit needed for renewing your certification? Learn more about the how, why, when, and where to write examination items for the holistic nursing and nurse coach certification examinations. Questions regarding the new item writing requirement for re-certification will be addressed as well. 

JHN NEW Peer Reviewer Orientation Meeting Open to all AHNA members who are interested in serving as JHN Peer Reviewers. Meet with JHN Editor Richard Cowling, III, RN, PhD, APRN-BC, AHN-BC, FAAN for orientation.
