2018 Meals

NEW FOR 2018: Plated meals must be selected during the registration process. Registrations cannot be processed if plated meals are not selected. All plated menu options are gluten free, any bread or dressings used in the standard meal are gluten free. Any non-gluten free item will be on the side. Vegetarian options are available and are marked as "VEG." Buffet lunches do not require choices ahead of time and will include gluten free, non-gluten free, and vegetarian options. Vegetarian and GF options will be offered, but the hotel will not be responsible for fulfilling specific dietary needs. Guest rooms are equipped with small refrigerators to keep food.

Select meals are included in your conference fee as noted below:

 • Tuesday Pre-Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to workshop(s), box lunch and continuing nursing education contact hours for the day you have registered. 

• Wednesday Pre-Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to workshop(s), box lunch, and continuing nursing education contact hours for the day you have registered.

 • Full Conference Registration Fees: Include admission to all programs and events * from Thursday through Sunday. Thursday morning opening ceremonies, Thursday evening Exhibitor Reception, Breakfast (2), Lunch (1), Saturday Evening Awards Banquet and Silent Auction, beverage breaks, and continuing nursing education hours. 

• One Day Registration Fee: Available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday only. Includes admission on selected day to programs, events * and continuing nursing education contact hours. Meals included are Thursday breakfast, Friday lunch and Saturday breakfast. Saturday Awards Banquet and Silent Auction are not included in one-day registration fee ; however, one-day registrants may add admission to the Awards Banquet for an additional $100.

*Conference registration does not include optional activities, which are available at an additional cost.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation Policy Cancellations after Thursday, May 17: Conference registration and optional activities are non-refundable after Thursday, May 17, with the exception of pre-conference registration fees.  Alternative options: 

1) Transfer your registration to another person for a $50 processing fee;

2) Get credit for next year’s conference: you will be charged a $50 processing fee and you will receive a Letter of Credit worth 50% of what you paid for general registration in 2018, which can be used toward the conference in 2019.

Attendees who register for the High Tea with Canadian Holistic Nurses Association optional activity must show a valid passport, passport card, enhanced driver's license, enhanced identification card, or trusted traveler program card in order to attend the optional activity. Registrants who cannot provide valid identification to cross the border into Canada will not be permitted to board the bus and are not eligible for a refund.

 

T-SHIRTS

This year we will be offering a limited number of T-shirts with AHNA 2018 conference logo for purchase in the Gift Shop area. 

This year's t-shirt will feature a glitter conference logo! 

ANNUAL AUCTION

If you would like to donate an item (minimum value $75) for our fundraising Silent Auction and Zen Raffle, please bring it with you to the registration table on Tuesday through Thursday. The Silent Auction at the Saturday Night Awards Banquet gives you the opportunity to win, bid on and buy (cash, check, credit card) all sorts of valuable, treasured or humorous objects as well as several education courses. It's a "don't miss" event! Please email membership@ahna.org to give us the details if you are bringing an auction item. 

ATTIRE

Conference attire, as always, is casual. Be sure to bring a light jacket, as the air conditioning will be on in the hotel and conference center. 


You will be given a poncho on the Maid of the Mist and at Cave of the Winds; however. your clothes can still get wet, so dress accordingly!

In response to Apple’s recent policy change, AHNA’s conference app now lives inside of the parent app: AttendeeHub.

  1. Search for and download AttendeeHub in the App Store or Google Play Store
  2. After AttendeeHub downloads, open the app and search for “AHNA.”
  3. 2018 AHNA Annual Conference” should appear with the conference’s logo. Click download.
  4. You will be asked if you want to allow the app to send push notifications. We recommend clicking yes in order to receive important conference updates and messages.
  5. Click “log in.” You will be asked to enter your first and last name. After you do this, click “next.”
  6. You will be asked to enter an email. It is important to use an immediately accessible email, as you will be sent a verification code to confirm your account.
  7. Check your email to retrieve the four-digit verification code, then return to the AttendeeHub app to enter the code.
  8. You will be prompted to connect to social media, add a profile picture, bio, and other information to promote networking. You may choose to skip these steps.
  9. You’re in! Feel free to explore the app and discover what there is to do at the conference, network with other attendees, and access useful resources to make the conference a success!.

Optional Activities

All Optional Activity pricing is PER PERSON. Transportation to and from the event and all fees, taxes and gratuities are included. Meet in the Lobby 30 minutes before to check in. There are NO PHYSICAL TICKETS for each event, your name is on a guest list for each event.
